Advantages: Always fresh bread

Disadvantages: Slightly difficult to remove the pan

The Kenwood Rapid Bake BM200 is the best present I have ever received. Usually all these items go into a cupboard and are never used - but not this one.
I found a space for it on my worktop as it isn’t too huge or ugly and its used daily.
The smell of bread drifting through your house any time of day is absolutely wonderful.
It is so easy to use, add water first tepid is best. Then add the flour, strong white is best or wholemeal. In each corner add the powdered milk, the salt, the butter and the sugar. Then make a well in the middle and add the dry yeast granules. Set and leave.
I’ve tried small white, large whites, wholemeal and bread rolls. All of these have turned out perfect.
I have made bread for family and friends and my workmates are asking for it as well.
In fact I took 1 bread roll and 1 slice of bread to a workmate who took it home to his wife and she used it for her pack-up.
The only thing I find difficult is taking the bread drum out its still very stiff.
Also when washing the drum you cannot immerse it in water.

I have many more recipes to try and a banana bread one is coming from America for me to try.

I would recommend this product to anyone.

Sorry supermarkets but I shall not be buying bread now I make it myself, its just such a wonderful texture and taste.

It doesn’t last as long as ordinary bread because there are not any preservatives in it but it doesn’t stay that long in the bread bin.

Bread rolls take lhr 30 mins and then you bake them in the oven and a bread loaf takes 2hrs 50mins. I haven’t tried the rapid cycle or the delay timer as yet.

Next I want to try the jam making in it - yes it makes jam as well, and cakes.

A little tip for the flour, go to a mill for it as its the best type. I go to Caudwells Mills at Rowsley near Matlock in Derbyshire especially for the flour.

Happy bread making.
