 ... confusing at first - my jam was more like sugar water the first few times, but (when I read the manual) it all became clearer. In fact, the instruction manual does deserve a mention, because it also contains several useful recipes/ideas. It is a little bit more expensive than some bread makers, but I have found that panasonic goods (in general) tend to last longer, but givien I've only had this for a month or so, I cannot really comment on it's durability. I have been moaning (a lot, apparently) about the cost of everyday food recently - so to my suprise, a friend bought me a bread maker. I thought that bread makers were for retired people who had a lot of time on their hands, and had the life experience/knowledge to make decent bread, but to my amazement I have been able to produce quite a decent 'loaf' from this, with very little effort. I even added some fruit to my last effort, and again was pleased with the result.
