I upgraded to the 250 WXC Panasonic bread maker from the 208 not because I was dissatisfied at all with the 208 but because a relative bought me the 250 as a present. I believe Panasonic make the best bread makers and the 250 WXC is absolutely fantastic. Like the earlier model it makes superior bread to any other model I have sampled and the quality of the end product is as good as going to a professional bakery. It is a slimmer design (250) and fits well on the work surface in the kitchen but as it is well designed it fits in a cupboard easily. The best features of this model are automatic baking to settings of your choice: I put mine on in the evening on timed and wake up to the smell of fresh baked bread warm and ready to eat. Another brilliant feature of this model is the automatic ingredient dispenser so you can make more complex breads like walnut and pear sourdoughs for example and not have to go back to the machine in process. Just leave it to do it's magic.
