I have not bought shop bought bread since I was bought this bread maker. I am used to making my own bread by hand although this was saved as a treat as although it was good to do it was time consuming. Now all I have to do is put the ingredients into the bread makers pan and select my type of bread and when I want it finished and that's all. The finished results are perfect every time.
I have used other makes of bread maker but this one produces an excellent sized loaf, which has a good consistency.
Plus points are
I can use organic flour
There are no chemicals added and I know what every ingredient is
I can set the timer so I have freshly baked bread in the morning
There is a dough only setting so I can make the dough and then assemble my own toppings on an oven cooked pizza.
The recipe book that comes with it is excellent and has loads of suggestions for using different types of flours etc
It is cheaper to make my own bread than buy speciality breads in the supermarket.
There is a quick express bake mode which cooks bread in 2 hours
Negative points
Initial cost is higher than other bread makers, mine was bought as a family present
Each loaf is so tasty I do eat more than I should!
