Advantages: Fresh bread when you want it.
Disadvantages: Hole in centre of loaf due to paddle
I recieved this breadmaker for christmas about eight years ago and it is still working perfectly. It is wonderful walking into the house after a busy day to the smell of freshly baked bread, the only drawback is wailting for the bread to cool down before you can slice it!
It is quite a large and heavy appliance, so getting it out of the cupbaord to use can be a problem, I would keep mine out all the time if I had more worktop space.
At first I found the hole left in the centre of the bread by the paddle and the elongated height of the loaf a little off putting, but once sliced this is not as noticable.
The taste of a homemade freshly baked loaf is so much nicer than a shop bought sliced loaf, but it doesn't seem to last as long because it is so yummy, even the children want more!
Summary: It is worth buying a good quality machine to get bread that tastes this good.
