... Medley is a mixture of whole wheat, rice and cornflakes, rolled oats. Add to this recipe raisins, apricot, pear and sliced almonds and I think you'll agree it is a strange concoction. But surprisingly it is very nice. Okay you can taste the whole wheat fine, and the small cornflakes stand out with their colour, but it tastes really good. Not a boring breakfast and the fact it is a great source of whole grain and only has 3% fat, means it is very good for you

My wife is a big fan of Special K cereal so it is often on our shopping list. It can be quite expensive, so I am always looking to see if I can pick it up cheaper. Imagine my delight when I saw it in Home and Bargain at a mere £1 for 425g. In went 6 boxes (along with my other shopping). Upon arriving home shouting to my wife, 'got another bargain', before I'd even got into the kitchen. Then it hit me. No, not the wife or the box of Special K, but the fact that the box of Special K wasn't Special K, it was Special K Medley. This was a total different kind of cereal.
