... just the same, but in amongst them are generous helpings of tasty almonds and pecans. And to top it all off, there are quite a few little peanut clusters, coated in caramel. These are delightfully sweet and crunchy, and add the element of surprise to the cereal- after a few bites, you suddenly crunch on a cluster! So, all in all, I would say the updates to the original cereal are very welcome- the extra nuts add variety and ensure that no mouthful is a chore!

I tried these out when I got a free coupon for all the new Kellogg's crunchy nut brands. I opted for the nutty version as these were the only new cereals which were gluten free. Having always been a fan of the ordinary Crunchy Nut Cornflakes, I hoped Kellogg's wouldn't have messed around too much with a tried and tested classic, and I wasn't disappointed! I thought Crunchy Nut Nutty would be Crunchy Nut Cornflakes but with more nuts but they are much more interesting than that. The flakes are actually Crunchy Nut Cornflakes but it is what has been added that makes them so special and tasty. The flakes are lovely and I think if they weren't so good then the cereal would be spoiled but they are perfect. They are crunchy and make a good crunch noise when I am chewing them, they have tiny little pieces of nuts attached to them and then are lightly coated in honey.
