This tasty cereal from Sainsbury's comprises of small postage stamp sized pillows of shredded wheat filled with a light and fruity blueberry filling.

They make for a tasty and filling breakfast and are also a fairly healthy way to start your day.

This cereal is naturally low in fat, high in fibre and contains no added salt. They do however contain a moderately high amount of sugar.

They can be enjoyed hot or cold but with the winter mornings drawing in, I always opt for hot milk. The cereal retains its shape well and does not dissolve into mush like some other cereals do.

I find that it keeps me feeling full for longer than the more sugary frosted flakes or cocoa snaps.

Sainsbury's also make this cereal in 3 other varieties - raisin, apricot and cranberry. I have tried all of them and would say that the blueberry ones are the best, closely followed by the apricot ones, which make a nice change. I didn't think that the cranberry ones tasted that different to the blueberry ones so although they are nice, I tend to avoid them.

Overall I would say that Sainsbury's Blueberry Wheats provide a very satisfying breakfast. If, like me, you are looking for a cereal that will leave you feeling full and satisfied without piling on the pounds then these are a good choice. With hot milk they are a great way to warm up in the winter mornings.
