If you're watching your sugar, avoid. But A very tasty, chocolaty breakfast.

I first saw this at the local sunday market. it was 50p for 5 sachets, a bargain. (At the shops, I think it's about £1.00 give or take)
I have seen this flavour in Morrison's, however I've not been there for a while, and this product isn't listed on the weetabix website, so I don't think it's very available.

It's in sachets, so it saves a little messing around. However, the portion is very small, in my opinion. I would call it a childs portion. But if you don't have much appetite (unlike me) at breakfast, the serving size would be okay. I wouldn't recommend making this with water. I haven't tried, but I don't imagine the chocolate would taste so good with it. Besides, the milk adds extra nutrition and taste.

A single sachet is about 155 calories, and has a high percentage of sugar. However, it's very fortified, containing 400mg calcium before adding milk, and plenty of other vitamins and minerals to boot. In that respect, this product has my thumbs up, as fortification is something I look for in my breakfast cereals.

It tastes good, nice and chocolaty; it's made with real chocolate, and has chocolate chips in which melt as you cook it - cool!

I have found though, that it boils over much easier than ordinary porridge. It really spoils my breakfast when it boils over, puts me in a bad mood.

Overall though, I wouldn't buy this product again as I don't like the amount of sugar, or the portion size. But as a treat if it's available when I breakfast out, it's a viable choice.
