Advantages: Quick Versatile and mosrt importantly filling
Disadvantages: Not a full english : (
Alot of my friends tell me they don't always have breakfast in the morning, I can't understand how this would be possible, I am envious as if I tried to do this I would be shaky and sweaty till I finally got something to eat and conversation with anyone would be impossible.
To this end I turn to Weetabix to give me the oomph to leave the house in the morning without having to resort to murdering everybody on the bus.
Ultimately I would love a fry up every morning but this is not practical as there is one thing I love more than food...and that is sleep. So for breakfast I need something that will not only fill me up but that is quick and simple to whip up. Enter Weetabix.
Weetabix are rectangles weaved out of wholegrain that tend to go a bit soggy with the addition of milk (you can't win them all). Sogginess aside weetabix are great for a number of reasons, they're filling, their super fast (just put a couple in a bowl and add ice cold milk (or even hot if you fancy it) which brings me onto the third reason these wheaty treats are so great, and thats verstility.
Hot or cold you can smother or pile on them pretty much anything. Fruit, chocolate, honey, cream or just plain sugar make excellent bed fellows to these pillows of wheat.
When you've wrestled yourself out of bed and need a no fuss, filling and delicious breakfast then you need look no further than Weetabix. In an ideal world I'd have a spicy latin maid who would whip me up a greasy full English and send me off into the world with a kiss and a full stomach, as it is I'll just have to make do : )
Summary: A great breakfast
