I have bought Weetabix Weetaflakes on a number of occasions now and am a big fan. I usually buy the 375g box for the small price of 99p at Home Bargains, although I would probably pay more. The Weetaflakes are made by Weetabix and are Crispy Wholegrain Wheat and Rice Flakes. They are very crunchy and as you would expect from a reputable company like Weetabix they are extremely fresh and kept this way by a grease proof bag in a cardboard box. According to the box they are low in fat, high fibre, wholegrain and have the goodness of weetabix in a flake. When you open these, they look similar to special K. However they are much healthier for you because they are made from whole grains and don't have a lot of sugar. Another good thing I noticed is that they are very low in salt. If you are doing the special K diet you could have these instead because they are just as filling without the sugar. I expected them to taste normal weetabix; but they didn't. They taste like a wholegrain special K. I you have them with semi - skimmed milk (depending on how much you have) there should only be about 170 cals approx (at the most per bowl).
