I live in a large block of flats and most of flats have a wireless router, which has been interfering with my wireless access, after changing the setting on the router like the wireless channel and others with no success, I decided to invest in a set of these of these, and have not regretted it. The network speeds are more than i could have ever has with my wireless connection and it has not dropped out even once since I installed it, and is plenty for streaming files from my PC to my XBOX. Zyxel PLA-401 Starterkit ... PLA-401 200Mbps Homeplug is a good little invention, it offers high speed network transfer speeds through you normal mains power. You may ask why you don t just use wireless, which is fair enough but if you want a connection somewhere that there is poor signal then the home plug is a sure way to have a stable uninterrupted connection and the speeds can be a lot quicker than wireless. In my opinion the Zyxel is one of the best models available, I have mine a few months now and it is easy to setup with the simple instructions, within a few minutes you can be up and running. I ve set up and am using six of these routers at a certain company with offices around London and have been using them for a few years now and was done as an upgrade from the Draytek Vigor 2600 and 2800 routers that were previously in use. The reason for the upgrade to the 2950 was due to the VPN (Virtual Private Network) connection being slow with the previous models.
