The AT-AR745 supports a variety of Port Interface Cards (PICs) for flexible configuration. LAN and WAN PICs can be simply and quickly field-upgraded as business needs change. Several PIC interface cards can coexist in the AT-AR745 router, simultaneously supporting legacy LAN-WAN interfaces and best of breed technology. Thus allowing a smooth transition of technology, protecting customer investment without business risks.

Future proof features like IPv6 are supported for investment protection. AT-AR745 supports IPv6 and Ipv4 simultaneously on the same ports. This allows a soft migration to IPV6 without any business risk and any need to migrate or replace the platform already adopted.
