Bintec Bingo! DSL II ... features, which will be available from Release 6.3.8 onwards.

The BinGO! DSL II from Bintec is a competitive router for use in SOHOs (Small Offices - Home Offices). Its main application is access to remote information, especially high-speed Internet access via DSL.

Remote access means all staff in small offices or home offices can access the Internet as well as remote corporate networks. Fax and network services such as e-mail, home banking or file transfer are also supported.

The BinGO! DSL II also provides remote access from remote locations to local information. Teleworkers on the road can dial into their office via ISDN or mobile phone (V.110, V.120) and work as if they were actually in the office.

Remote Access provides the facility to make the right information available at the right time. Remote access does, however, involve an element of risk: information can be accessed or manipulated by unauthorized persons. Extensive firewall mechanisms have been implemented in BinGO! DSL II to prevent this abuse.

BinGO! DSL II meets the high security requirements of SOHOs, especially requirements resulting from Internet access via DSL.
