Bintec X 4300 ... WAN-Access, but also as a Remote Access Server, a Remote CAPI Server or as a router for local area networks. The X4300 has two X.21 interfaces for cost-effective leased lines. These interfaces could be bundled to one logical channel.

All units support time-critical applications like VoIP, Video on Demand or data base connections via Quality of Service (QoS). A choice of expansion cards can be integrated according to application requirements. Resource cards that can extend the routers by up to 60 digital modems are additionally available. The BinTec Man-Machine-Interface (MMI) guides the user intuitively through the first necessary configuration steps like the entry of the IP address. The device communicates directly with the user over a backlighted graphic display and four input keys. It informs the user about necessary entries and eventual mistakes. Applications, which are based on the widely used CAPI interface are also available throughout the network thanks to the integrated remote CAPI. The BinTec Advanced Network Communication Architecture, supporting different computer platforms, provides features that are more powerful than ever before.
