Advantages: It is reliable
Disadvantages: Could be considered costly
I received this router last year as a replacement from my ISP (I had an old modem thing and wanted to go wireless)
It.....
* Supports up to 10 computers wirelessly with a range of up to 50m indoors and 250m outdoors
* 4 Ethernet ports to enable wired connections to PC's, games consoles and other Ethernet-enabled equipment
* High-speed network using Turbo 802.11g technology. It's also compatible with 802.11g and 802.11b products
* Comprehensive and user-friendly configuration interface makes this router easy to use
* Wireless Security enabled on start-up using Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) with 128 bit encryption. Other wireless security options can also be set-up and, with a built-in firewall, only authorised computers can use your network.
It supports ADSL2+ which is a must. It was really easy to install, just plug in and go, was set up within 5mins. A real plus point was the security was already enabled, which on some new routers it is not, being a novice like myself I found this very useful and saved a lot of worry.
Never had any problems with it, good piece of kit from BT. If you need a new not to pricey router, I would recommend this one.
Around £50 on Amazon £70 from BT.
Summary: Good little router
