Eicon 1551 WAN Router ... already exists on the network. The synchronous port can be configured for either leased-line PPP, X.25 or Frame Relay connectivity. The WAN port automatically detects the cable type. The Eicon 1551 WAN Routers are easily managed and configured through a web browser. A simple point and click assigns different WAN protocols or upgrades the Eicon 1551 WAN Router software.

The Eicon 1551 WAN Router is also equipped with an ISDN back-up port that can be configured for PPP, MLPPP or X.31.
