The Quality of Service (QoS) allows for full control over the outgoing data stream. Priority can be given to ensure important data like gaming packets, customer information or management information are favored even under heavy traffic load. Further, the FBR-1461 also allows for speed control for different types of outgoing data ensuring that bandwidth is optimally used.

The Easy Sign-On (EZSO) feature of the FBR-1461 router allows users to establish an ADSL connection effortlessly via standard web browser like IE. The router automatically detects the protocol (PPPoE, PPPoA or DHCP) of an ADSL connection once connected to an ADSL line.

Along with the built-in NAT natural firewall feature, the FBR-1461 router also provides Denial of Service (Dos) attacks and Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) features to counter hacking attempts and URL content filtering.
