The FBR-2500 VPN Broadband Router provides support for Internet communications applications to be used behind a firewall. It allows users to easily set-up port requirements for different applications. It also provides IM and P2P management control to prevent possible misuse of Internet Messenger and P2P applications. It also provides URL filtering, detailed Internet Access Log file, QoS and VPN Pass through support.

The FBR-2500 features VPN network connectivity, providing users with a secured end-to-end private network connection over public networks. It supports PPTP and IPSec with DES, 3DES and AES encryption methods and Autokey IKE, MD5 or SHA-1 authentication. The FBR-2500 also supports QoS enabling users to allocate bandwidth for critical traffic or applications.
