The MTASR2-201, MTASR2-203 and MTASR3 can support multiple WAN services providing companies with a flexible network communications solution. For example, a branch office could connect over T1 lines and a dial-up user could connect over an analog line. In addition, the RouteFinder supports ML-PPP channel bonding for increased bandwidth for ISDN and analog clients. For leased line applications, dial backup provides added security if the primary link fails.

The RouteFinder family provides seamless connectivity between remote site and central site LANs. The three-port RouteFinder is ideal for central offices with leased line service that are supporting three branch connections. The one-port RouteFinder is suitable for branch offices to connect to the central office. And all models support a wide range of routing protocols, including IP, IPX, RIP V1 and RIP V2. The RouteFinder also provides dial-up LAN access for telecommuters and mobile users from any PPP or SLIP networking client. The enterprise LAN remains secure because all user names and passwords are stored by the RouteFinder and can be authenticated with PAP, CHAP or callback security.
