And because the V3 uses SIP, the most popular protocol for voice communications over the Internet, you can tap into a rapidly-growing world of free and very low-cost phone services.

Fail-Over to conventional phone service allows the V3 to automatically route calls over the dial-up phone network when power is lost. Conventional phone service support also allows the V3 to use proven emergency dialing services when "911" is dialed.
