Disadvantages: Three times as expensive from normal cable which works just as well

As the xbox 360 do not come with an HDMI cable although supplied with a port I decided to get mee one of these. For those of you who dont know true high definition can only be seen id both hd products are connected via an HDMI cable. The one usually supplied with the console is a component AV cable and after 2 years with that I decided to get one of these with my new console.

I spent about 30£ on this and defintely though money well spent as I could clearly see the difference between the two cables. I carried on this happy thought till I took my console to a friends house and used one of his regular HDMI cables for 7£ and noticed the exact same quality as mine. It was only then that I realised that I was impressed by the technology than the actual product.

I would still recommend all you console gamers out there to go for an HDMI cable but not an official MS one for 30£. A 10£ cable from anywhere would just be the same.

Summary: MS just trying to make extra money. Go for the cheaper option
