      Absolute bargain and genius idea.

For between £7-31 (depending on length) this lead will be your HDMI and Ethernet in one, so I bought it and gave it a go as I am always fed up of hundreds of wires on my desk heading in every which way. Coming in lengths from 91cm to 7.60m this is the perfect cable for your needs.

      ---HIGH SPEED---
After trying a lot of HDMI leads, varying from the cheap Toolstation ones at £6 to the expensive 'High speed' ones in PC world at over £30 I can say that I have not found an amazing difference in the picture quality that a 'high speed' cable can deliver. So with this cable I cannot really see why it is branded high speed or what effect this really has. As long as you buy one that is gold plated I am sure you will be satisfied with the result.

      ---ETHERNET CONNECTIVITY---
As stated in the name this cable will be both your HDMI and Ethernet so it is great for connecting a TV to a computer as I do. In this way I can have two screens for my laptop or internet on my TV and I only have to have one lead for this. Although this is all I have used it for so far I am sure there are many other applications so even if you don't need an Ethernet HDMI lead now, at this price why don't you get one anyway and just use it as a HDMI or Ethernet as I am sure there will be many other uses out in the near future for this dual purpose lead.

      ---FLAT DESIGN---
One of the things that impressed me with this cable is the fact that it has a 'flat-shaft' design. This is beneficial in two ways as it makes it really easy to install in walls and it also leads to much less knots and strain on the wire as it can bend in one plane easily. From now on I am in fact going to try to buy all my cables in a flat design if possible.

      ---AESTHETICS/ERGONOMICS---
The cable is a matt black with just a few small grey bits of writing over it. At each end you have the gold plated connectors but these are obviously hidden when not in use. Being this colour the wire fades out of sight very easily which is great as who wants to be staring at wires all day? When you go to touch the wire the whole lead has a slightly rubberized texture that feels well-made and very durable. Each end has a slight bump in it so you can hold it firmly when connecting the plug into a socket.

      ---OVERALL---
Well really there is little to fault with this lead. Being stylish, well made and very functional this lead ticks just about every box - it is even fairly cheap. I have had no technical problems with my lead so far any will recommend it to anyone I know who needs either a HDMI or an Ethernet cable.
