Canon UC-G 1000 ... husband got my Canon G1000 in October 2000 as an early christmas pressy so that we could record our sons 1st birthday. He paid £349 at the time and included with the camcorder was an accessories pack which consisted of a camcorder case, battery pack and 8mm tape so that we could start recording straight away. Since our purchase we have found it cheeper £299 but I am not sure if the accessories are included in the price. *~*8mm TAPES COST £3.49 EACH FOR A 90 MINUTE TAPE OR £6.99 FOR A TWIN PACK*~* Our camcorder has given us hours of fun and enjoyment from recording birthdays, christmas, the birth of our daughter and even our 16 month old son asleep in his dinne... Sony CCD TRV 65 ... of the best pieces of equipment that I have ever purchased has got to be the Sony CCD-TRV65E digital Hi8 video camcorder. Well I actually tell a lie because it was presented to me to my great delight one Christmas day morning about two years ago by my good lady and daughter. I was like a little child with a new toy because I just could not put it down and as everybody turned around the camera was annoyingly focused directly into their smiling faces but which became forced grins as the festivities progressed. JVC GR AX 750 ... first purchased this camera 4 years ago with a gurantee of 5 years, after 1 year approximately, this camera would zoom in and out without anyone touching it, which was annoying when we had used this camera to video a wedding. the camera went back to the manufacturers and was with them approx 6 weeks upon its return the camera still had the same fault, this camera has now gone back again and still has the intermintant fault. Overall I have been throughly dissapointed with the product I purchased from JVC and would never buy from them again. I would recommend to anyone who was thinking a buying a JVC Video camera. DONT...
