Advantages: reasonably priced.

Disadvantages: not worth the money

I first purchased this camera 4 years ago
with a gurantee of 5 years, after 1 year approximately, this camera would zoom in and out without anyone touching it, which was annoying when we had used this camera to video a wedding. the camera went back to the manufacturers and was with them approx 6 weeks upon its return the camera still had the same fault, this camera has now gone back again and still has the intermintant fault.

Overall I have been throughly dissapointed with the product I purchased from JVC and would never buy from them again.

I would recommend to anyone who was thinking a buying a JVC Video camera. DONT...
