Advantages: heaven
Disadvantages: Eckles cake
If you're going to purchase a video camera, then let me recommend this excellent Sony CCDTRV59, it's a sleek and stylish camcorder with an LCD screen, so it's modern and very stylish indeed. You'll be the envy of all your friends. If you're planning on going on a holiday that may be like a once in a lifetime trip, then I recommend you do take a camera with you. Take it in turns to film the sights and wonders of wherever you are staying (places like Peckham, Liverpool, you know, the best), and you'll not miss too much - it won't hinder the experience, it shall enhance. This camera is expensive and so it's packed with a lot of features: Video Hi8. Built-in Light - most useful feature in my opinion. NightShot 0 Lux. 560 x Digital zoom (20 x Optical) - not many cameras have such a powerful zoom - digital zoom and very accurate, I was VERY impressed with this function. High stamina battery life up to 17hours - this is true, but 'up to 17 hours' is a bit of a cover up, running on normal resolution, you'll get a decent 14 hours worth, maximum I have had is around 15, so 17, maybe. Still darn good. 2.5” LCD Screen (61K dots) - excellent, gone are the days of black and white screens, this folding LCD screen has excellent colour and is very precise. Superb stuff Sony. Video out - connection to your television. Quality - this is one very high quality piece of equipment, it's from Sony and they usually make the top stuff, and to be honest you will not find many better camcorders - it's worth the extra money. Sony = so good. Sound and picture quality playback is incredible - very sharp, very clear and crisp, this is how you want to remember your hols! Overall, a superb camera. It's worth the money. Available at Vurrys, Dixons, Comet, you know - places like this. 5 Stars.

- 01/09/01 Indeed. And also, why would he bother? What's in it for him - to 'get' your miles he'd have to have given an address to send it to! It is also impossible to alter a user ID, and extremely unlikely that he would have hacked you. Also, I am dubious he would have upped the number of reads for each op as has blatantly been done (no ways can you have had so many reads per op in such a short time)...in fact...the only evidence is on this profile that anything fishy has been going on.
Unless you can provide better info, I imagine this is the account that will be going! Sorry to be blunt...no offence intended, but hacking is a jolly serious business and if it is possible on this site it needs to be investigated - unfathomed accusations do not help that in the slightest. |

- 31/08/01 Am intrigued by your profile where you claim a string of dots to be evidence of someone hacking into your account.
I would point out that you it does not seem to be possible to change a user ID, and if someone had hacked your account there would be no way for you to tell who it was! |

- 28/08/01 Excellent op! I have one of these, and I think they are ace! The nightvision thingy is an interesting idea, and the enhanced zoom is incredibly detailed. Top notch camera! |
