This is a tough little camera case that protects my camera from life.

One of the most important accessories that I have for my little Kodak compact digital camera is a camera case, I say this is the most important accessory as it is what I carry my little old camera around in and it has protected it from many drops and knocks during its life.

My camera measures 3.5 inches x 2.5 inches x 1.5 inches, although it is small it is just right for me, so knowing how clumsy I am I wanted a case that would keep it all snug and safe and also hold a couple of spare batteries and memory cards.

After a quick look around town I chose a small Case Logic case, mainly because it looked sturdy while being small and it also had a couple of compartments for batteries and memory cards.

The case is made of black Nylon and EVA (I searched the internet to see what EVA was but putting Nylon and EVA into a search engine brought up some odd answers). The case is quite rugged and has a hard panel in the front and back to protect it from knocks. The back of the case has a belt clip; the clip comes undone with a press stud so you can attach it to your belt easily. I don't use the belt clip as I don't wear belts but I can imagine that it would be handy for those that do.

Entry to the camera case is gained through a zip that opens up three sides of the case for easy access to your camera. The zipper has a rubber toggle on that is easy to grip when opening and closing the case. I have had the case for a couple of years now and have never suffered a jammed zip.

Inside the camera case there is the obvious space for your camera, and inside the front there are two elasticised pockets, the smaller of these pockets that is inside the larger pocket is a good size for storing spare memory cards and the larger outer pocket is a good size for storing four AA batteries. There is a small hole at the top of the case, I use this to put my camera strap through and then I can carry the camera and case securely on my wrist.

When I have my camera in the case and spare batteries I feel that the camera is held securely, I have occasionally dropped my camera and while it has been in this case it has suffered no damage. I would also class the case as shower proof as it withstands our glorious British summers with ease.

While the case is not the most glamorous of items it is tough and does the job that I need it to do. The case can currently be purchased from ebay.co.uk for £7.99 with free postage. The camera case comes with a 25 year warranty as standard which is very reassuring.

      Thank you for reading.
