I have found this flip video underwater case to be a great addition to my flip video camcorder. It is very simple to put over the flip video itself which is very useful. Furthermore, the camcorder with the case on remains very functional and the buttons are easy to access. I found this particularly useful when in a swimming pool and in the sea because it remains very easy to use. The case can protect the camcorder down to 30 feet which I found ample. This case fits over your Flip Ultra Video and makes it waterproof up to 30 feet in depth. It's a clear plastic case with controls that fit over the control buttons on the Flip. For those of us who are not exactly camera officianado`s, the Flip ultra HD video comera is perfect its simple, its light and most importantly 'I suppose' its inexpensive. So when you have you you have to think how could I use this- perhaps underwater, maybe not, but you do think that it would be cool to video tape underwater. Now those with the Flip will know that for all those pro`s there is a fairly serous con, the quality is acceptable for the price lets just say that ! I always felt worried when I used this product for the first time. A flip video is an expensive product and I wasn't keen on taking it in the pool with me, but I can safely assure you that this waterproof case works. The case seals around the Flip Video and makes a rubber seal and a plastic case on top for double protection. All of the controls are still useable when the case is on.
