I am quite partial to the wide range of Hello Kitty branded items you can buy. In fact I might write a list on the 1001 pointless things I can buy with a cute Hello Kitty on at some time in the future. However right now I am reviewing a Hello Kitty soft and pink camera case that I bought.

I wanted to review this some time ago but had to make a product suggestion and as it has been added here now I can tell you all to go out and buy one. Well you can see the piccy, it is very cute! I first saw this online and then looked around for the best price and ended up paying just £4.99 for my case. You can pay almost twice this in some stores, so do check out who has the best deal if you fancy one of these.

My camera case fits one of my small digital cameras in fine. I find it very quick and simple to use and haven't had any problems with it at all. When I place my camera in the case it is protected by some soft but durable neoprene material. I rather like the fact that its made from neoprene as it gives a soft padded effect without the bulkyness that other types of foamy padding can give.

The neoprene can also be wiped over if it gets a little grubby and care worn and it seems to be pretty good at keeping my camera warm and toasty and ready for use. It will provide a certain amount of protection from knocks and bumps too as the neoprene has a nice bouncy texture to it. The motif on the case is of course Hello Kitty. I feel the pink neoprene and pink and white Hello Kitty motif look sweet and appealing to girls or ladies of any age.

The zipper on the Hello Kitty case works well enough and opens and closes when I need it to. The zip goes quite a way over the top and sides of the case which makes getting a camera in and out as easy as can be. I sometimes find it catches a little on one of the corners but other than that it works well. The size of my camera case is a compact but helpful 12 cms x 9 cms x 20 cms which works well for my camera.

The zip has a pretty hello Kitty detail on the zipper you use to open and close the case which has Kittys face on it. I rather like that and find its easy to hold and use to open and shut my case by gripping that. The neoprene used has a small amount of stretch to it and is fairly flexible when empty. Once the camera is inside it fits snug as a bug in a Hello Kitty camera case would.

To check if you have bought an official Hello Kitty product is easy enough, you just need to look out for the Sanrio logo which is on all official products. If it isn't present then it isn't a real Hello Kitty branded product. My case has the Sanrio logo on the bottom panel of the back of the case in the centre. If yours is missing this send it back or exchange it for one that does.

The case is easy to use and store my camera safely inside. It comes with a belt fastener which I haven't used and a neck strap which again I haven't used. I like the case as its very compact and easy to carry when I need to take my camera out with me. Its also very pink and cute and makes a change from the many boring camera cases you can buy.

As far as rating my Hello Kitty case goes I feel its lovely. Its pink, padded, purrfect for my camera, cost me less than I thought it might and works well. I can give it a wipe down if I need to and I feel its a handy little case that protects my camera. You can buy the case from a number of shops and stores and its still available to buy. As it has worked well I feel it ought to get 4 stars.
