As the internal height of case is 16.5cm and camera measurement front to back is 17cm, not a lot I know but I wanted to ensure when spare battery was in lid pouch it did not press too hard against the LCD moniter. Despite searching I could not find out. I have now purchesed one perfect and is ideal for anyone not wishing to carry a larger case........Hope this helps..........DAT
