      Very helpful

      A good everyday case.

I bought this camera case from Jessops to protect my Fujifilm JV100 digital camera.

The case is made of black leather with light suede inside. It features a magnetic closure and a small internal storage compartment big enough for a spare memory card or battery. On the back there's a belt loop, although this is quite small so not suitable for wider belts.

I used this case extensively when I was out and about climbing in North Wales. It kept my camera safe while being banged about in the top pocket up my rucksack. After having lots of use the case is still in good condition. The leather shows the use with wrinkles in the top where it folds. This doesn't detract from the function of the case at all.

The case looks very smart being all black, sleek and simple. It's a design which don't age, date or go out of fashion. Being leather it will last for many years.

The suede inside is very soft and has done a very good job of protecting my camera.

When closed there are gaps at the tops of the case so the camera is not completely sealed in. As a result the case would not protect the camera drop being dropped in water and wouldn't stop sand or dirt getting in if it were dropped on the floor. If you're going to be very active or going to beaches with your camera this may not be the camera case for you. If you're using it for everyday use then it's perfect.

My camera fits in snugly with enough space for my Joby Gorillapod tripod mount to stay attached. I use the small storage compartment to keep a spare battery but an SD card in a case fits in well also.

This case cost about £20 which I think is very good value for money for a case which will last years. A quick look am amazon reveals that you can buy one of these for about £5, an absolute bargain. If you know your camera will fit then this is a brilliant case.
