	Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 EX DG Macro Lens Canon Fit ... is a world leader in lenses and they are proving that they can actively compete with Cannon and Nikon This Sigma 70mm f/2.8 EX DG Macro Interchangeable Lens is a great lense, I was suprised just how good infact, I have several Macro lenses, by cannon and nikon and this is easily as good if not better. The build quality is superb, the lens feels very robust and the manual focus ring is nicely it feels very sturdy and looks like a very expensive Nikon lense as apposed to a cheaper alternative. The opticals on this lense are very good, I compared them from f/2.8 through to f/11 and f/16, noticed there was a little colour reproduction problem, but nothing serious and... 	Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens ... make this clear that it is the older version of 18-55mm before they upgraded it to fit the 450D and above. So 400D and below. ============== When starting out in photography; most people get entry level camera body like 400D Canon EOS, this lens comes with the body to form the basic kit lens. As far as I know, you cannot purchase this lens officially with its boxes and such, you can buy one off Ebay for a reduced price of £50 or so without its boxes. Before purchasing the entire kit, you will have to realise that the lens will have to be replaced very soon as it does not perform as well as its counterparts such as Canon 24-105mm for example. 	Sigma 18-200mm F/3.5-6.3 DC Lens ... bought this lens after a massive amount of research, I wanted to find a lens that compromised of two possible lens into one big lens so it would be easier to carry around. I also was feeling very limited by the current lens I had which was Canon 18-55mm basic kit lens. Most important thing I focussed on was the focal length; 18-200mm. It has an optical zoom of 11 times. This lens has a maximum aperture of F/3.5-6.3. One of the main issue with this lens is that when at 18mm, it has a maximum aperture of F/3.5 but move to 200mm, the max aperture increases to F/6.3.
