Canon EF-S ... bought this lens to use because when I first bought my Canon 400D, I didn t buy the kit lens to go with it (which in retrospect was a silly decision). It s quite pricey but well worth the cost, especially if you are a heavy portrait or macro shooter. Since it is a prime lens, the photographs it takes are beautifully sharp and crisp and the colours are very accurate. At large apertures the bokeh is really beautiful and soft, with no vignetting or fringing. However, I haven t tried it at the other end of the aperture yet. Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L USM Zoom Lens ... is a really good lense, it is made from really robust metal and plastic. I use it on my cannon camera all the time. The best thing about it is that you can use the apateur 4.0 at all the focal length all the way upto 200mm zoom - for all the photographers here, you will know how useful this is when you are some distance a way from your subject and you want that small f number for the effect you are trying to achieve, or there just is not enough light at the location you want to shoot. Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM Zoom Lens ... the first APS-C sized imagers appeared in DSLRs a few years ago, photographers have struggled with not having lenses which can provide super-wide angle coverage. With a 1.6X factor, (on Canon DSLRs, at least), a 16mm focal length, like that of Canon s 16-35mm zoom, becomes just 25mm at the wide end. Recently a number of even wider-angle lenses have become available, and the latest of this batch, at least for owners of the Canon 20D and Rebel, is the recently announced Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM.
