It is the classic to improve images, brings deepness into the image, removes disturbing reflections on sheets of glass and water, provides brilliant colors over and above that, all advantages of the UV-filter. HTMC term means "High Transmission Multi Coating". Filters and lenses from Hama are coated with 4 layers on each side, which facilitates an extremely soft transmission of the light (air-glass-air). Reflections in the optical system of your camera are avoided. Result: image sharpness, contrast and color saturation are improved accordingly. Hama filters are made of high-quality lens glass.
