... is a new lens from Nikon, recently announced, although saying that it s actually almost identical to the old 18-200VR, so what is the point of it I hear you cry! Well, the boast of this lens is that it uses the VRII vibration reduction system, which allows you to hand hold up to 4 stops slower than you would without it, although this always depends on how steady your hands are. However, the old lens I also us... Read the full review: One lens does everything by sax_man_al |

Nikon 70-200mm F/2.8G ED-IF AF-S VR Nikkor ... lenses go there are a few that have become must have items, and for a nikon photographer this lens sureley has to be one of them. Without a doubt this is the best medium telephoto lens you can get for a nikon camera! I could finish there and say if you ve got the money go get one, but that wouldn t be much of a review now would it! The first thing you will notice about this lens is it s cost, and yes, it is quite expensive. But for the quality, durability and versatility of this lens it is worth it. Then there is it s size. I have to say it s not that small, and it s not light either, but when you see the results you get from this lens all these things don t seem to... Nikon TC 14E II ... converter is the ideal companion to any of the professional nikon lenses that are rated at f2.8 or f4. As it says on the box it will multiply the focal length of your lens by 1.4, so a 70-200 f2.8 lens will become a 98-280mm lens, and a 300 will become 420mm, if you are lucky to have a 500mm it will become a 700mm monster! The only downside is a loss of one stop of light, so f2.8 lens will become f4, and an f4 lens will become f5.6. This converter will only autofocus with lenses that have an internal focusing motor such as AF-S and HSM. The construction of the converter includes a little metal tab which stops it attaching to non AF-S lenses too. This means it won t... Nikon DX Zoom Nikkor ... lense came bundled in with my nikon d80 when i bought it. The reason they bundled it with the camera is because it s just a great all around lense. As it is a DX lense it works for DX sensors so doesn t have that full frame crop factor that a full frame lenses have on digital slr s. with the 18 - 135 mm lense you have a wide range of photo opportunities at your disposal. from the wide angle landscape shot to the half body portrait and at the 135 mm end you got the beginnings of some great telephoto shots. if you are entering the digital slr market this a great lense to begin with. The glass is of a good quality and will create some crisp images. the only bad thing is... Read the full review: great beginners lense by jimimavs |
