	Hoya PRO1 Digital, 67 mm ... Filters are circular pieces of glass which fit onto the lens of an SLR camera. A filter can serve many purposes, and I personally use them for two reasons. Firstly, and perhaps most importantly, they protect whatever they are fitted onto. If you re using a £1000 lens (not that i ve got one of those), then you don t want to risk scratching the glass at the front and ruining the product. Secondly, I specifically use a UV filter (like the Hoya Pro1 Digital which I am reviewing here), to absorb the ultraviolet rays which often make outdoor photos look hazy. 	Tamron A15 ... anyone read my review on the Sony Alpha DSLR`s that I wrote and went out and got themselves one then the chances are you have noticed the limited potential of the kit lens they come with. As I said when I wrote my review of the A200 and the A350, this is the only thing that lets the cameras down a little. The chances are that these limitations have led you to start looking for a lens upgrade or as we in the business would say "new glass". 	Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM Zoom Lens ... lens are always good. I decided to buy the lense to go with my canon camera and I am very happy with the performance. The price is pretty high mind you are looking at just over £500 but it is defiantely worth the price if you are a serious photographer.
