	Canon IXUS X-1 APS Camera ... IXUS X-1 is Canon's underwater camera. It is based on the M-1, but with a waterproof housing. It has all of the great features that the Canon IXUS cameras have, but is more rugged. Features include the different picture shapes, red-eye reduction, self-timer, night photos, date stamping, captioning and so on (captions are rubbish by the way, you can only select from 5 pre-determined messages and not all photo developers can add them). The waterproof housing of the camera does make it larger than the non-waterproof versions. I would say it is about 50% bigger, but that is still small. 	Canon IXUS II Extreme APS Camera ... II - may seem pricy but the optics are noticably better than lower priced competition, even from within Canon's own range. I bought mine from a "tax reduced" airport shop, saving significantly. A long weekend in Barcelona and three films later, and I was blown away by the versatility (given sun, night, deep shadow, high contrast conditions for various shots) of this little camera. This was basically a test to see if I should pack my Minolta SLR, or "make do" with a smaller APS for a big travelling holiday in Australia - in my opinion the restrictions imposed by the small lens and inability to add filters or manually set aperture/focus/shutter ... 	Olympus µ[MJU:] II ... has got to be the smallest non-APS camera that I have ever seen! However, the small size doesn?t sacrifice high quality, and the mju-II takes pics that you?ll be proud to show the relatives! The camera also features several modes, including a red eye reduction mode and a night shot mode (which is good for taking pictures of people and light, for example). My only slight complaint is that the photo is not instant, with a split second gap between the button press and the shutter release.
