sutclifn Olympus Superzoom 700 XB: ... this camera only because the one I had my eye wasn t available and I needed a camera that day. I m glad the other camera wasn t in stock, this is the best manual camera I ve ever brought, the picture quality is excellent which is the main thing, plus it has the option date and time stamp each photo which I found comes in very handy. I found this camera very easy to use, film loading was easier than any othe...

richkw Canon EOS 5
... so the Canon EOS 5 is an obsolete camera, but…………what a fantastic secondhand bargain. Canon produced the EOS 5 for upwards of 9 years, by which time, although it was still selling well, it was starting to look a little dated. I ve been a keen amateur and semi-pro photographer for around 20 years. Although I ve used many cameras over the years, I ve always used the Canon EOS range as my main outfit. In 2001, my trusty, 11 year old EOS 600 started playing up. Considering it had had a pretty hard life and in excess of 500 rolls of film through it, I couldn t really complain. I needed to replace it fairly quickly so, on impulse, I bought a ex-demo Canon EOS 5 rather tha...

wildtinsey Pentax MZ 5N
... is one of my favourite cameras to use especially for wildlife photography. It is lightweight due to the body being made of plastic but still rugged enough to cope with everyday life. The viewfinder is large and bright so any manual adjustments of focus that you require can be done. There is also a dioptre adjustment on the view finder to cater for those who wear glasses. It has a built in flash on the top of the camera useful when used with the standard 28-80mm lens that is normally included when you buy the camera. The flash can be turned on or off, used on an automatic setting and also used on an anti red eye setting. All these work well. I like to use an auxillar...

Purdypops Kodak Advantix C650 Zoom camera
... ve had this camera for about 4 years - it was a Christmas present, and l would guess as makes and models change this camera probably isn t produced anymore. Although whilst checking out www.pricerunner.co.uk when searching for the price I did see that on Ebay you can start a bid on one for £1!!! BARGAIN! When the camera was bought for me it cost in and around £50-£60. I in fact got a new APS camera from my mum for Christmas (although l cant write about it yet - lve taken one snap!) and l can write this without fear of offending her as l know she doesn t visit these websites or any for that matter, but l think l will be sticking to using my old one as the new one don...
