Nikon F65: ... excellent introduction to SLR Photography. This camera has all the capabilities of more expensive Nikons but without the hefty price tag. To start with, the quality of prints you get from the F65 is superb. Colours are beautifully matched and the focus, even on Automatic, is excellent. The camera itself is easy to use once you ve had a quick read of the manual because there aren t so many buttons. Don t let th...

... is nothing new to say that the Nikon F3 is an excellent camera, indeed it has been known to be so to anyone who is interested in photography and has read a little about cameras. In my personal experience, the F3 has been a trustworthy friend that has accompanied me on many trips throughout the past 10 years. I bought my F3 over 10 years ago and it was second hand, I also have another Nikon camera and 2 Canons, but the F3 is the one I always chose when I don t want to carry too much gear and when I want to make sure the pictures will be excellent, and especially when I know I will be walking, trekking or going up and down treacherous grounds. I use mainly Nikon lense...

... old Bronica medium format setup to buy this camera. Not disappointed in the slightest apart from the flash positioning, when taking close-up photos. It only took around a day to familiarise myself with EOS 300, which is all credit to the Canon quick guide and simple to use menu. The EOS 300 is very light considering it is a full size SLR camera, even with a 200 mm lens, but robust (after dropping mine twice). The auto-focus system is accurate and easy to use, helping you to achieve the depth of field, maybe a few too many beeps! The manual over-ride control dial allows you to set the camera s automatic ISO setting and at the same time setting the correct film speed....
