This is a very nice SLR and is one of the older cameras from Canon that have the EOS name, I have had mine about 9 years, but it still does most of the things that the current models can. The camera itself can be set to full automatic, fully manual or any combination in-between for exposure, F-stop or focusing. The camera also has a number of programs for portrait, landscapes, close-ups, action shots and one to automatically set-up the depth of field. The camera has a built-in fill-in flash for close-up shots, so if you are photographing a party you don’t need to have a full-size flashgun on the camera.
