In my mind, Canon SLR's are the definition of SLR Camera's. I absolutely love this camera. I do not pretend to be a professional photographer, but do have a GCSE in photography and know a good photo when I see one. The quality of the pictures this camera takes are very good, and tied with the Sigma lens I use (28-200mm) are very crisp. As you may or may not know, SLR camera's generally get sold separately to the lenses that they use. This was the case with this camera. what a great little camera, not so little just nicely compact. As with most canon products it is hard to find much wrong with it. It's a cheap enough camera and a good allrounder and there are some great offers around. Very user friendly, beginners will find it easier to use than most with enough features to keep them interested but not to complicated that they will want to give up. Match it up with a decent lens or two and the avid photographer will have endless fun creating the masterfull image. Only draw back comes from a slow motor drive which niggles a bit at action shots.
