Advantages: lightweight.compact, user friendly, price

Disadvantages: slow motor drive

what a great little camera, not so little just nicely compact. As with most canon products it is hard to find much wrong with it.

It's a cheap enough camera and a good allrounder and there are some great offers around. Very user friendly, beginners will find it easier to use than most with enough features to keep them interested but not to complicated that they will want to give up.

Match it up with a decent lens or two and the avid photographer will have endless fun creating the masterfull image. Only draw back comes from a slow motor drive which niggles a bit at action shots. But from a beginners point of view you could not ask for a better SLR.

Take time to learn this camera and it stand you in good stead for years to come and your grandchildren will wonder how you produced such quality photos from that old 35mm.

A bit too general, and not enough specifics to make comparisons with other similar products.
