The Olympus Mju was a camera i coveted for a long time, and i was not disappointed when i got one! I use a Nikon F4s for my Photography, and the Olumpus for snapshots. The meteringsystem is excellent, allowing you to use slide film, which normally can be quite fidgety, as it requires very accurate exposure. My camera has also been very rugged, even surviving a fall into water. After having dried out it still works wonders! The different flashmodes are very good for getting exactly the effect you are after, and the flash is good enough for portraits outdoors. Simply very good value for your money. I've had this camera for over seven years now, and it's brilliant. It's very compact and easy to use, and manages to strike the difficult balance of having enough options to make it flexible without having so many you can't work out how to use them. There are a choice of flash modes, including fill-in flash (used in daylight to cancel out the effects of a bright light source such as a window behind your subject). Arguably less successful is the red-eye reduction, a sort of strobe effect which does little for red-eye but will get perfect photos of bemused friends!
