I have had the Canon 105 Zoom aprrox 15 months, and can say that it takes excellent photos. It is neat and compact in size and weight, and is coloured silver at the front with a black centre piece; and is black on the back. It comes with its own leather case (with a strong Velcro fastening), and a long strap that is attached to the camera itself. The instruction book, in 6 languages (English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, and Portuguese) is self-explanatory with a good table of contents. This is the first fully automatic zoom camera that I have owned. Before, I made do with freebies from petrol coupons, but the years had finally got the better of my last manual Fuji camera, so I requested a "nice" new camera for a Christmas gift. I wasn't expecting anything special, but the gift I received from friends was a really pleasant suprise. As this is my first proper camera, I have little else with which to compare, but I certainly enjoy using it.
