Camping Sitges ... I will be honest and overall we were disapointed from the start. The only positive thing we can say is that the toilets were spotless. No wonder there are no pictures on the website of the tent areas. It was I lumpy bit of soil. We had to pay 24 euros for an electric connector. The shop is overpriced and you can get everything cheaper by walking in to the town. Don t even get me started on the pool area. No sun loungers, rude staff more concerned about you wearing shoes and eating than safety. One woman was forced to put her cigarette out in the shower. Haggerston Castle Caravan Park ... Castle, Northumberland, has been my families choice of cheap-week away holiday, for the past 4 years, and in this time we have been 4 times. Twice in the summer, once at Easter, and the last in the October Holidays. Our first experience here was absolutly fantastic, and so we have continued to return, each year. Haggerston Castle, is situated, in the heart of Northumberland. The caravan site, is brilliant for everybody, ranging from couples looking for a cheap weekend getaway to familys ready for a week of fun and excitement. Canvas Holidays ... have been going on holiday with Canvas Holidays for over 10 years now. In the beginning, the service was incredible! The maxi tents that they used, were of really high quality, you were presented with a bottle of wine, when you arrived, and they could never do enough for you. The campsites were always of an excellently high standard, and you always new it was a really safe bet to book your european holiday with them. Since Canvas holidays were sold however, (to a large US Corporation.) The standards seem to have been slipping, year by year. You no longer receive a free bottle of wine, when you arrive, and the tents don t appear to have been replaced for years! The...
