... this review is about 2 different places we camped at in Zambia - Jollyboys and Fawlty towers in Livingstone Jollyboys - a lovely little site, with cabins for indoor accomodation. Camping Sites in Malawi ... wonderful experience we made in Malawi - something which you will also be part of, if you ever travel there... KANDE BEACH You will find many well-appointed camp-sites all along the lake shore. We stayed in a particularly delightful place - Kande Beach. Kande beach was founded by the legendary Overland-Trucker Dave (the one from Africa The Hard Way) and is still one of the favourite stops for overland trucks but there are also quite a few people travelling individually as well as Malawis and South Africans on a long weekend or a holiday. Camping Sites in Namibia ... altogether, as the familiar sound of waves breaking from a distance echo with the wind. Day is breaking, accompanied by a cloud of fog, an everyday occurrence. We sneak out; each absorbed in our own thought from underneath our warm sleeping bags to meet the day. The sun with its brilliant rays will break through the hovering fog soon enough to provide us with a glorious day, but in the meantime a strong cup of coffee will do just fine. While having our breakfast (last night’s leftover supper), we plan our movements and destination for the day.
