 ... Swiss are very against pollution. My sister goes to school in Switzerland and she told me that her teacher had left his car on to defrost one morning and came outside to find his neighbour had switched off his engine! When I had found the campsite online I saw that pitches were between 10 and 25 chf each depending on the size so was very surprised when my boyfriend ran out for more money because the bill came to 71chf for one night! Luzern is a lovely town in Switzerland but everything seems to be super expensive so before I planned my visit, I looked up where I could stay on the cheap and found the Lido Camping with its very easy to navigate website. http://www.camping-international.ch/web_final/camping_luzern_news_e.html The main bonus of this campsite is that it is so close to the town centre and has all the amenities you could need. I stayed for one night with 2 of my sisters and my boyfriend. When we arrived (after very easily finding it using a Tomtom) I waited in the car whilst my boyfriend and one of my sisters went into the reception to book us a pitch.
