This summer we drove down to the French Alps and then through to Italy we stayed 4 nights camping at France at this campsite the municipal Marrionniers (means chestnut trees) at Le petit Bornand les Gilliers. We left English shores about 7pm in the evening my husband drove several hours before we stopped in an air de repose where we put our heads down in the car for about 4 or 5 hours we travelled onwards getting to the camp site in the French Alps late the next afternoon .We stopped several times on route for a rest a walk and food we were not in a hurry.
