Newest Review: ... evening The site ~~~~~~~ You may have guessed by now that this is a small site. There are 46 places for tents these spaces were a reasonable size the tents not crowded together. Well no one about, so we looked around the site and choose a good spot The camp site because it is on a hill has 3 flat grassy terraces to put your tent on. There are several trees on the site and just below the ... more  ... site is the river Bourne which has trout in it. I think fishing permits are available. There is a pleasant short walk along this river.

This summer we drove down to the French Alps and then through to Italy we stayed 4 nights camping at France at this campsite the municipal Marrionniers (means chestnut trees) at Le petit Bornand les Gilliers. We left English shores about 7pm in the evening my husband drove several hours before we stopped in an air de repose where we put our heads down in the car for about 4 or 5 hours we travelled onwards getting to the camp site in the French Alps late the next afternoon .We stopped several times on route for a rest a walk and food we were not in a hurry.
