Camping Sites in Curacao

Camping in Curacao was quite an adventure, first flying into Curacao you have to explain to the authorities that you will be camping ,my advice is to tell them your camping on a friends land,and just make up some dutch name they will never know,then renting a car was quite high,but after you leave the traffic of Willemstad and get out to the mountains does the scenery get amazing. As my lady friend explained in our first review there are plenty of cliffs to climb and dive from,along with caves to explore.The water is crystal clear with lots of marine life 20 ft from shore. Camping in Curacao was great ,after arriving to the island ,I rented a car and drove to the resort named The Habitat,there I received directions to the beach 2 miles away.There I met the owner who allowed me to camp on his beach for free all week,the water was warm and clear even at nite. I had the beach all to myself everynight. There were picnic tables and they had a store and snack shop open daily,even sold alcohol for drinking on the beach daily, totally beautiful shoreline with diving cliffs and caves. If your looking for a out of the way camping trip thats beautiful,private and adventuous follow my trail,only draw backs are bathrooms are open only during the day ,there is no police whatsoever,and the beach is a topless beach for the ladys, draw backs you decide!
