The best campsite on The Isle Of Lewis, has to be the small campsite in SIABOST (Shawbost) .Firstly, it was very cheap, at £2 a night last year. It is very small and friendly. There are clean and adaquete toilets and showers,but by far the best feature is a small sitting / dining room with cooker and fridge that are free to use. If you dont fancy cooking the owners sister will do you break fast at her house, or bring you a fantastic meal over to the dining room at a great price. In front of the site is a small modern school with its own swimming pool that can be used in holidays and out of school hours. A lovely beach is just down the road, and the tourist sites of the standing Stones, Arnol Black house are close by.
